✅Destec is a leading mining contractor providing ore crushing, screening, and materials handling services to major mining sites throughout Western Australia. We're proud of our innovative approach, which includes designing, building, and maintaining our own high-quality crushing and screening plants.Due to a new project, we are seeking experienced Boilermaker / Welders for an immediate start at our Bibra Lake workshop. This is an initial 2-3 month casual engagement with the potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate.The role may also offer opportunity to assist on occasion with our mines site based FIFO shutdowns, and site coverage (paid at 12 hours per day).✅Key Details Location: Bibra Lake - impressive new workshop supporting large-scale fabrication and project buildsHours: 56 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 10-hour days; Saturday, 6-hour days).Remuneration: Casual $57.50 per hour plus penalties Site Allowance payable for any FIFO works. ✅About the RoleAs a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and maintaining fixed-plant components, working from drawings and specifications to a high standard. The scope includes crushers, screens, conveyors, chutes, and associated plant equipment.You will be part of a skilled, safety-focused team that values quality workmanship, planning, and a well-run workshop.
